Margaret Mead Film Festival
15 November 2004

Our colleagues at NYU's Center for Religion and Media recommend The Margaret Mead Film & Video Festival. We're a bit a late in promoting this terrific and unusual line-up of films, which began November 11th. But it continues at the Museum of Natural History through next weekend, so if you're in the New York City area, we suggest the following films that may be of interest to Revealer readers.

Ganges: River to Heaven, 11/20, 12:30 -- Hinduism

Madanm Ti Zo (Mrs. Littlebones), 11/20, 12:45 -- Haitian traditional medicine

The Roots of the Sky 11/20, 12:30 -- Siberian shamanism

Totem: The Return of the G'psgolox Pole, 11/21, 1 pm -- Pacific Northwest traditional beliefs

Being Dorothy, 11/20, 2:30 -- American mythology
