Infidel Democracy 19 November 2004 Ansar al-Sunna, an Iraqi Islamic group, posted a statement online warning Muslims not to vote in the upcoming elections, lest they "be branded as an infidel and 'punished in the name of God.'" The statement also threatened attacks against polls, candidates and voters who take part in the January election.
