Vocation Training
17 February 2005
The ACLU and Americans United for Separation of Church and State have filed a complaint regarding religious proselytization in a Pennsylvania jail, charging that the only vocational training program available to prisoners forces them to participate in prayer and religious discussion with the staff of the Christian group, Firm Foundation. The ACLU also charged that the federally-funded Firm Foundation discriminate in hiring based on religious beliefs and affiliation.
