Prayers for Conviction
21 February 2005
Virginia lawmakers, who are currently reviewing a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would secure the right to public prayer in schools and other municipal buildings, were angered last Friday by the public prayer of Rev. Debra Peevey, the lesbian pastor of Journey of the Heart Ministries in Reston.
