Presidential Prayer Team 14 March 2005 While hosting Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez insisted that the United States government was attempting to assasinate him and voiced a public prayer that God "'save us'" from President Bush, who, according to Chavez is obsessed with "'being the owner of the world [and] has said that God sent him...to save to the world. God has us to save from him...'"
