More in Salon. Billy's a New Orleans death row lawyer whose house, it turns out since he wrote that, is only partially standing. But Billy's raising funds for people far worse off than he is. You can help through Billy's organization Reprieve, which is collecting donations to help locate and re-locate impoverished families of "those incarcerated or recently exonerated as a result of capital charges."
