Supernatural George
07 October 2005
"'If Bush really wants to obey God during his time as president he should start with what is blindingly obvious from the Bible rather than perceived supernatural messages.'" British reserve, specifically the Christian Socialist version of this reserve, responds to the latest rumors of President Bush's conversations with God -- this time allegedly containing directions for the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and a quick-n-easy fix for Palestine -- with a sniff and bit of snarky advice to the man God knows as "George": implementing more "biblical" policies concerning the welfare of the poor might make God feel like talking to Bush more often.
