10 May 2006If you dig awesome 1970s muscle cars and fascist-tinged anti-immigrant activism, then you just gotta check out this red, white, and blue 1970 Mercury Cougar, dubbed the "Spirit of Allegiance," "Official Pace Car of the Minuteman Project Caravan to Washington," bringing petitions to "seal the border." What's this got to do with religion? Beats me. I hope some intrepid religion reporter finds out by asking caravan PR rep -- and Cougar driver -- Lyman Stuckey (909-856-3431) why the Minutemen are promoting their caravan via Christian Newswire, a publicity service for Christian conservative news.
