30 August 2006Evangelicalism plus eggheadery equals, apparently, "intelligelicals," and so far as we can tell from this intelligelical anti-intelligical rant, they're making omelettes. What the hell are we talking about? We don't know, and this article probably won't help, but if you must follow the schismatic battles of Christian conservative elite writers -- the "Chriterati," if you will -- or, if you see in the spectacle of movement machers eating one another alive some indicator of Christian conservatism's fortunes, this is the article for you.
