Somalis in Maine 08 December 2006 Greenfield: In this week's New Yorker, William Finnegan has an excellent piece on the Muslim Somali community in Lewiston, Maine. One thing did leave me unsatisfied, however -- there was only one photograph printed with the article. Thankfully, you can find a slideshow of Samantha Appleton's photos from the town on the magazine's website.
