What's Up with Radio?
10 January 2007
Greenfield: Christianity Today had an interesting idea to do a four-part series on the current and future state of Christian radio. In the first part, "What's Up with Radio?", Mark Geil provides an overview and asks (but doesn't really answer) whether Christian radio is "working" or "needs fixing." He notes a significant increase in its listener base, but his best argument for Christian radio mattering in the age of the iPod is that artists get excited when they hear themselves on the air. Let's hope the next three parts do a better job of illustrating the "widespread impact" that Christian radio apparently still has.
